The console version of Full Boost is set to be released on 30th January 2014, meanwhile Bandai have announced a successor to Extreme VS for arcades for March 2014, titled ‘Gundam Extreme VS Maxi Boost.
EXVS Maxi Boost
Maxi Boost is scheduled to be released in Japanese arcades in late March 2014. There seems to be a new system called Extreme Overdrive.
Several new units can also be spotted in the scans. Brackets indicate what 2ch users think the units will cost:
- Perfect Strike Gundam (2500)
- Avalanche Exia
- Puru’s Quebeley
- Gundam AGE-1 (2000)
- Gundam AGE-2
- Gaia Gundam
- Legend Gundam (3000)
- Char’s Zaku II
- Penelope Gundam (3000)
- Brave Flag (2500)
While it may be frustrating for consumers to have a new arcade version announced on the heels of Full Boost PS3, it makes sense for Bandai Namco as they can avoid impacting their arcade business with home versions.
PS3 Full Boost
The PS3 version of Full Boost will come in two versions. A standard copy of the game will be 7.980Y, there will also be a limited edition, priced at 10,980Y.
